Miguel in Foto Miguel.

The spell.
The trance.
The hypnotic powers.

El Triple in charge.
Although circumstances unfavourable to be there, unable to leave.
Like bogged down in the sand of the beach, in the clear morning light and in the wild of the waves.

Unable to leave, stuck at El Triple like a fool on the hill, a message was received from fervent and loyal blog reader Mandira saying:

I think that the fact that the water pump is not working is that sign you were waiting for.
Time to break up the camp and flow with the wind!

What I have learned recently is that everything passes, not only bad things, but good things too.

And maybe it is good to have a few ideas not materialized, so that they will keep you busy, and later you will find some new solution to give them form ...

This was a striking message.
So full of wisdom, concern, solidarity and love.
It made the mind see the situation from a different perspective and the next morning the camp at El Triple was broken up to travel to the town of La Paz.
How much a man needs a woman…
Thanks to Mandira’s message the spell of El Triple had been broken!

Like the highly admired Madonna is singing:

Your heart is not open, so I must go
The spell has been broken...I loved you so
Freedom comes when you learn to let go
Creation comes when you learn to say no

You were my lesson I had to learn
I was your fortress you had to burn
Pain is a warning that something's wrong
I pray to God that it won't be long
Do ya wanna go higher?

There's nothing left to try
There's no place left to hide
There's no greater power than the power of good-bye

Learn to say good-bye
I yearn to say good-bye

Back in La Paz, life is totally different compared to life at El Triple.
There are all those things to do to give organizational structure to life.
People are very kind and helpful in La Paz.
Therefore it is a pleasure to go around and have things done.

One of those things was the need for official passport pictures to use for the different visas.
By coincidence the business was called “Foto Miguel” and a woman was in charge.
She was behind a beautiful iMac using the software program Photoshop.
A most friendly lady who was asked if she had not a shirt and tie to borrow to look more official in the picture.
Wearing a colored singlet like WWF-wrestlers favor, it was not exactly the outfit to be photographed in for a visa application.

Doesn’t matter, the lady replied, I can fit you on decent clothes in my iMac.
And no kidding, on her computer screen she maneuvered later a dark costume underneath the head.
Making the victim look as he had never done before.

In combination with the look of a lunatic, acquired after having been in reclusion for 60 days, the results of Foto Miguel could be exhibited either in the Museum of Modern Art of Popalabambo or on the wanted wall in your local post office:
