Be still like a mountain and flow like a great river.

It is the time of year that even at Punta Boca del Salado, on the more moderate side of the peninsula Baja California in Mexico, strong winds frequently blow.
These winds are the most experienced when showing oneself on the beach.
The open surface has the full power of the wind, carrying sand and salt, making the brave walker a serious struggler.

Every day a walk is made.
This after the lunch and the following siesta.
There are several reasons why a walk is made.
First and foremost is because it is beneficial for the health.
Secondly, to experience space, to see different perspectives, is healthy for the mind.
Thirdly, it gives Gorba, the terrible dog, an opportunity to be off his chain and experience some freedom, have some exercise and practise these habits dogs have.

When the wind is strong it is not all that pleasant on the beach.
Therefore, sometimes a different direction is chosen.
A walk is made on the wide dry riverbed.

Going upstream it leads into a canyon.
And eventually to waterfalls.
Protected from the wind, it is a walk with different scenery.

At the end, when the canyon becomes real narrow, the waterfalls are reached.
The water is still flowing.
The earth a sponge slowly releasing the downpour from the September hurricane.

This is a place that is most special.
Many of times a huge rock was used as a seat to see the water flow while contemplating, reminiscence and meditating.

All those rocks are here forever and are unmovable.
In between those final rocks is the water flowing like a perfect acrobat.
It is a perfect harmony.
Fixed and fluent in ideal unity.

This is highly inspiring for a human being to observe.

It brings the great Tao philosopher Lao Tse to mind.
"Be still like a mountain and flow like a great river."

One of the wisdoms of Lao Tse.
A Chinese man living around 600 years before Christ, he expressed in writing wisdom about life that is still highly influential.

If his major work, the Te-Tao Ching, had become what is the Bible now, the world would be a different place.

“Only the soft overcomes the hard,
by yielding, bringing it to peace.
Even where there is no space,
that which has no substance enters in.

Through these things is shown
the value of the natural way.
The wise man understands full well,
that wordless teaching can take place,
and that actions should occur
without the wish for self-advancement.”

Leaving the canyon and returning to the coast, a transformation had been taking place.

Having been next to the water and the rocks and remembering Lao Tse, all the recent events and the playing issues had moved into a different context.

Like magic, suddenly everything turned into another direction.
For example, that very evening an e-mail was received from the “Angels’ Touch Dental Clinic” with their sincere and deepest apologies.
Arturo Cruz is now decommissioned from this client and Dr. Rosa Peña, owner of the “Angels’ Touch Dental Clinic”, will herself be responsible for the further treatment.

Another e-mail came in from the vice-president of Motosat concerning the issue of his company not cashing in the monthly fee so that a constant threat is there to be disconnected from the Internet.
Motosat is now straightening out this scary situation.

Another e-mail came in concerning the Seitz roof vents in the Fuso Szulc and their flaw of inadequate bug screens and curtains.
Finally the company that sold them will take responsibility for this issue.

Beautiful Olga called to inform that all was going well with the process of obtaining a one-year residence permit in Mexico.

On top, news was received from the team in Beijing, China, that the preparations for performing the project “The most beautiful people in the world” is going very well.

Just a simple walk into a canyon and watching the water flow.
Lao Tse guiding to have life and its movements balanced again.

Gorba is happy too.
He enjoyed so much the thorough washing he received in that flowing water.

Amazing pictures. Thanks a lot!
The Salerno Health Codex advises people in the morning to look at the mountains to uplift their spirit, and in the evening - at running water, to wash away all the tiredness of the day.
