Be single

A woman took the small monkey and wrapped it up tight in paper and cello tape.
To put it in a bag.
She put the bag behind her and was asked what this was about.
She explained she had the monkey but had enough of the animal.
Now she would keep it in the bag for months to eventually sell the animal possibly in a pet shop.
But what about food?
What about moving freely?
The poor monkey in the bag for months?
How could it survive?
What ordeal this poor creature would have to go through?
Meanwhile the bag behind the woman was moving.
The monkey was trying to get out of its precarious circumstances.

Most fervent and loyal blog readers will realize this was last night’s dream.
Obviously inspired by the visit over the last two days of a couple from Austria.
One night there was a campfire on the beach and the three of us were enjoying being together peacefully under a sky speckled with billions of stars.
Occasionally one would even fall inviting to make a wish.

We were talking about the experiences in life and because there was a bottle of Tequila, the conversation became very open and unrestricted.

At this point of the posting fervent and loyal blog readers are reminded that the driver of the Fuso Szulc does not drink Tequila.
Nor any other liquor.
It is only red wine he drinks and this only if it is a high quality Tempranillo and only on special occasions.

The conversation soon came around relationships.
The friends were having a hard time in coordinating harmoniously the feelings they were having for each other.
The man, age 40, desired the woman strongly and wished to be involved with her as much as possible.
The woman, aged 28, wanted besides the relationship more in life: education, personal growing, travelling, experiences and this not necessarily together with the man so much in love with her.

This whole situation, that made them suffer and go through hellish times, would not exist if the man had the same attitude as the woman.
Able to let go and not have another person as the key to the personal happiness.
Or if the woman was able to give up on her personal ambitions and start compromising to be together full time with the man.

Now, some fervent and loyal blog readers may ask, what has this dream to do with the friends around the campfire drinking Tequila and talking about their relationship?
Gee.
Wake up!
Obviously the 40-year-old man is in the dream the monkey.
It is a situation and a dream symbolic for men.
Afraid to end up in the bag of a woman and the pet shop.
Helpless, depending, suffering and silly.

It might be women have these fears as well and corresponding dreams.
A gazelle with its legs tied together kept by a man in his bathroom maybe?
To send the slender animal possibly to the butcher shop later?

That evening of the campfire under the stars the body was laid down on the
Tempur-Pedic mattress feeling very happy.
It was realized more clearly than ever that life becomes very complicated when involved with another person.
Hence, it is recommended not to be involved.
At least not in a combination of romance, sexuality, profession and money.
In other ways involvement can be enjoyed in ultimacy and life remains simple, peaceful and happy.

There is good and bad in every choice we make....

The real problem here is that there is a 40 year old man with a 28 year old woman. I am not sure how long they have been together but everyone knows that a person at 28 years is very different from a person at 40 years. Why do men always pick a woman much younger than themselves and then ask her to remain the age she was when he fell in love with her? It is quite difficult to keep any relationship going even when the couple are close in age and so much harder when they are so far apart. If men would learn to value a woman in her later years they would not have so many problems and could live out a comfortable life with a women who no longer struggles with her identity and who or what she wants to be. It is so insulting to me to see these old/young marriages when so many older women who have lost husbands or have been divorced by husbands (probably because they were looking at younger women for future partners)are lonely and looking for some one to share the last and possibly the best part of their lives. It is also interesting that the conclusion of the blog author is that neither one of the old/young couple is willing to compromise and that is their problem. Then he states that he is happy to be single and not dealing with a relationship. Hhmmmm! Would it not be smarter to look for a woman of the appropriate age who likes to travel, exercise, live in moderation etc? I am sure they are out there. I guess that it is the physical aspect of trying to deal with an older womans body. Men are visual creatures and want the excitement of the smooth, firm body and the mental validation from their peers that they can still attract, ensnare and hold a young female to their side.
