Waiting for Ferguson 4

The rhythm wrong.
The energy field alien.
The morale tumbling.
The sense of life losing.

Time to take drastic actions!

Therefore, it was decided to leave Kearny Mesa Mitsubishi Truck Centre for what it is and stop waiting for Ferguson to show up with the rebuild Fuso Szulc.

A visit to the Museum of Photography in San Diego was planned to spend the day.

But just after breakfast a phone call from Ron Lucero of Kearny Mesa Mitsubishi Truck Centre.
Eric Ferguson, the man rebuilding the Fuso Szulc, had called and was on his way.
The Fuso Szulc was ready!
Quickly the luggage was packed and the hotel checked out.
But once at Kearny Mesa Mitsubishi Truck Centre, no Eric Ferguson and no Fuso Szulc.
It took another three hours of waiting before finally the Fuso Szulc arrived.

The truck was closely inspected.
And a test drive was made.

It was discovered that the bushings were not adequately placed in its holders.
That the front part of the sub frame was not resting on the truck frame.
And that the camper box was lengthwise in an angle: not parallel with the truck chassis.
And that the sub frame was touching the plastic fresh water tank that were moving independently of each other eventually making the water tank leak.

The conclusion was obvious.
The Fuso Szulc had to return to the workshop of Ferguson.

“I know where you are going to spend the night!”, Ron Lucero told the pioneering photographer with a macabre sense of humour.

And this is the situation.
Back in the hotel.
For another two nights.
Day 13 and day 14.
But now without a rental car anymore.
Locked up, immobilized and diving deeper in desperation.

Lack of light leads to return to light to be so bright.
Lack of color leads to return to color to be so vibrant.
Lack of word leads to word once again sounding resonant.

Time in a hovel leads to time in a bed to be so comforting.

Frustration leads to a lack of the same...Peace
